Ritmo Lab - Novio Eléctrico feat. Mirabay Montoya and Mauro Mosquera (official promo)
@ritmolab 's latest release Novio Eléctrico tells the story of a Latina who wants electric love. Life with her boyfriend is dull and boring, and she is torn by the universal dilemma of staying and hoping things will change, or leaving and hoping her desires will be fulfilled. What will she do? The story is told in the powerful voice of #Colombia's salsa and bolero singer Mirabay Montoya, a sought-after vocal coach who counts Karol-G among her 1400 students. Her mother is Colombia's most beloved classical pianist, Teresita Gomez. Mirabay's deep, rich voice is evocative of Celia Cruz. This #Latina is joined by renowned Colombian salsa singer Mauro Mosquera, a former member of Grupo Niche. Alba Martínez, a Puerto Rican from Philadelphia and the project’s producer, wrote the Latin salsa-bomba fusion with the collaboration of 83-year-old salsa legend Izzy Sanabria, a Puerto Rican from New York. Izzy is world-famous for creating numerous legendary FANIA record album covers and is recognized for propelling the worldwide salsa explosion through his Latin NY Music Magazine’s Latin Music Awards in 1975. About Ritmo Lab #@ritmolab is a Latina-owned music and multimedia production celebrating Latinidad in the U.S. and around the world.
