How to Create Your Own Fallout 4 Style Loading Screen In Photoshop CC 2015
One of my absolute favorite game franchises of all time is the Fallout series. It's gone through some changes over the years and whether or not those changes were good or bad for the series or its fans is wildly contested in so many corners of the internet. With the new DLC for Fallout 4 (Automaton) coming to us in just a few days, as of this recording, I wanted to expand on the lore of the Mechanist in my own way. Consider this a sort of fan-fic/tutorial hybrid. I am going to show you how to construct your own Fallout 4 style loading screen from the ground up. This video will take you through the making of the faint grid work as part of the background image, using the New Guide Layout window, Line Tool, and Layer Styles. Then we'll be adding the text and data in that fantastic green we all know and love from Fallout.
