A Commodore 64 as a Bluetooth HID and iPad stand

A different take on keyboards for tablets. I adapted a Commodore 64 'C-type' to be used as both keyboard and stand for my iPad. The keyboard matrix is scanned by an ATMEL 328p microcontroller and keystrokes are sent through a BlueSMiRF HID Bluetooth interface. The result is quite satisfactory in terms of features and typing comfort. The C64 in this example has not been harmed in any way; it can be returned to its original state by simply removing all added parts. Hope you like it!
