Blogging with the iPad with Drafts and Byword
Blogging on the iPad is really easy I started off this morning by writing a blog post while I was still in bed. I use Siri dictation to write the first draft and then I did the editing, changing one or two words here and there afterwards. Using dictation like this makes the process very efficient indeed to write a quick 600 words. This was done in the Drafts application. I then sent the text into Byword because I have paid the extra to have the publish feature. In Byword I added a link and I also added a picture. The picture I got from Flickr which was a creative Commons image that is safe to use. I used to markdown to write the article and I used markdown to create the link. From then on it was a very simple procedure to send this to the website. I had already set up the link to the website which was a simple matter of putting in my username and password to connect to the website. ## Please subscribe to make sure you hear about all the How To videos.
