Connections between air quality and climate - English - Sept. 2021

Air pollution and climate change are closely interlinked. Many air pollutants have detrimental impacts on human health, ecosystems, and climate. On the other hand, a warming climate can worsen the air pollution problem via different mechanisms. This animation explains these interlinkages and highlights the importance of win-win solutions supported by the activities of the World Meteorological Organization.
