Longwave Non Directional Beacon: ODR 372 kHz, Kristiansand, Norway copied in Oxford UK
Hi there, here is the second European non directional beacon copied from my QTH in Oxford using the Lowe and Wellbrook loop. The distance between Oxford and Kristiansund is about 1260 kms, so not a bad catch. For a simple CW TX, these transmissions are remarkably interesting - well to a geek like me lol. Recorded on 26/02/19 at 04:56 hrs UTC using a Lowe HF-150, Bonito NTi GI300 galvanic isolator and Wellbrook ALA1530 magnetic loop antenna, outdoors. Thanks for watching.
