Late-Game Minecraft 512 :: The Farmer Levels Up

Selling our farmer some beetroot, she levels up! Great! The village child also grows up! We are running low on copper, so we decide to explore some nearby caves! We notice some cave entrances at the bottom of the river! The caves go down to the deepslate level, and we find the largest copper ore vein that we have ever seen! At the farm, we harvest some wheat and get some bone meal from the composter! We harvest more crops before picking up some spruce saplings and sticks in the forest! We build a pillar of scaffolding to destroy the rest of the spruce leaves before replanting the spruce tree! Keeping away our items in the various chests, we empty our inventory! Selling some beetroots to the farmer, she levels up! We see that the farmer now wants to buy pumpkins! We take out some pumpkin seeds and shear the sheep! Near the eastern wall of the village, we look for a place to plant the seeds! Tossing some eggs, we dig a hole and place down our water bucket! We head back to the village to refill our bucket and to craft some torches! Back at the eastern wall, we make an infinite water source and plant the pumpkins! We keep our hoe before leaving the village! Crossing the deepslate bridge, we head to the plains! We place down some torches before entering a cave that goes down to an aquifer! Initially the cave is quite dark, but we soon realise that it is quite small! We mine a bit of copper before diving into the water! Making air pockets in the flooded caves and placing torches in them, we find our way to a large water body! We get hit by tridents and we slay a few drowned! Swimming to the surface, we realise that we are in the nearby river! On the shore, we place down our bed and sleep! We slay the drowned to mend our tools. Swimming into the flooded caves again, we head in the opposite direction, but we find a dead end! We climb up to the plains above, but we are not sure what to do next! Heading into the river again, we want to collect some salmon but tridents fly towards us! Looking around for their source, we see cave entrances in the riverbed! We slay the aggressive drowned before exploring. Digging out an air pocket, the drowned zombies approach the cave! The drowned are out for blood, and they gather near the cave entrance! We slay them to prevent them from following us! Then, we venture deeper into the cave! We find a bit of copper ore in the ceiling and we mine it! Reaching the deepslate level, we find a narrow section with a gravel ceiling! It seems to be a dead end, but when we mine a little further, we break into a dry cave! The cave leads us to the bottom of a ravine where many bats are flying around! We slay a zombie and begin to explore cautiously! Before update 1.18, such areas used to be death traps, but now the caves are so large that mobs have a low chance of spawning in any particular ravine! We slay a spider and light up a side tunnel! There are some dripstone caves here as well! Placing down torches on the walls, we find some deepslate copper which is uncommon, but we decide not to mine it! We craft more torches and find our way into a steep cave where an enderman and a skeleton resides! After dealing with the mobs, we find a dead end! We see some copper on the ceiling and we get up to mine it. We soon realise that the copper ore deposit is incredibly large! Wow! We mine everything eagerly, and we end up with almost one and a half stacks of the orange ore! Dripstone caves are supposed to have more copper, but we did not know that the copper ore deposits would be larger as well! Or maybe the large deposit was made up of multiple intersecting deposits! Anyway, we continue to light up the cave! Mining some iron ore, we find a hole that goes down to the deepslate level! Making our way down, we realise that it is a dead end! We dig out some stairs to climb up again. Mining some iron and some granite, we realise that our inventory is almost full! Returning to the ravine, we start to light up the dark ledges! We do so with care, as we are afraid of explosive creepers jumping down from above! Leaving the caves, we swim up to the river! As usual, we are attacked by tridents! Dealing with the drowned menace, we sleep for another night on the coast! Exploring the riverbank, we place down torches to prevent mob spawning. We craft a new double chest and place it down! Storing away our items, we prepare for another mining expedition! As we slay the drowned, we notice a small cave at the side of the river! We light it up and defend ourselves against the zombies. Going back down to the ravine, we mine some lapis lazuli! Heading into an unexplored tunnel, we light it up before ending the episode!
