Probing cheap Sunluxy/unbranded IP cameras to see what they are capable of.

You can buy lots of cheap Chinese made IP cameras on the old eBay and Amazon. Most are pretty decent for the money in terms of picture quality. They wont win any awards, but they'll do the job. However, some are quirky. For example storing the recorded video on an SD card IN the camera. Which means a criminal could just take the camera to hide evidence of their misdeeds. I know some support RTSP and some support Onvif, the two protocols that matter for remote IP based CCTV systems, but most manufacturers don't publish very good specs on these cameras. They instead prefer to provide proprietary mobile viewing apps. So making use of these protocols may be a challenge. So lets have a bit of a play around and see what we can come up with.
