Fallout shelter
1/6 scale fallout shelter. *It's finally happening. The aliens were coming. Then they came. They did not come in peace. People fled their houses caring what they could. Most people were captured in the first wave. Ever since then they've been running, fleeing trying to get away from the alien invasion. This man and woman came together while running through a forest. They joined up and thankfully stumbled upon an old dilapidated fallout shelter. It was a godsend. They were in the shelter for 6 months before the food ran out. He been going out into the neighboring urban areas scavenging for food out of shops that have been ransacked long ago. Sometimes he's lucky, he finds good stuff like potato crisps, fancy boys snack cakes and once he found a case of mac and cheese. He breaks into houses and takes all of the canned goods he can find. The alien sweeps that are looking for survivors have become less and less frequent but he still has to be careful. He's very fortunate though, he has a background in engineering and electrical know how. He broke into a Harbor Freight store a while back and took all of their solar panels. He has them rigged up in the forest, camouflage by the trees. He gets enough energy to light up the bunker, run the stove and power his laptop. The internet went down long ago but he can still watch movies. It helps pass the time in the shelter. It's been this way for a year.* I'm going to write a story about it.
