Mass Effect 2 FAST planet scanning on the Xbox360
Edit: THIS IS FOR THE 360, NOT THE PC. Yes I know it's waaaaay easier on the PC. Scanning planets for resources is one of the most tedious aspects of this game, not only is it boring and droll - it's also unnecessarily slow. Being the impatient dork that I am, I found a way to completely deplete a rich planet of all resources in an average time of 6-8 minutes. How? By tapping the left trigger rapidly as I run the cursor across the globe, moving it almost as fast as if not *actively* scanning. Once I get a hit on the readout I zero in and hold down scan and launch a probe. Those of us with modified rapid fire controllers ( not saying I do or do not! :D ) will find this method especially useful.
