Cutting Corners: Using Sync Acceleration Strategies to 10,000 Points Johto Champion Stadium | PMEX

Welcome to my shortest CS run to date. This is me channeling my inner FueBoomer and having fun with the Head Start 1 cookies from the Legendary Gauntlet. One thing is doing Sync Acceleration because and another is using it because it's beneficial; if you hasten your set-up it helps deal better damage sooner. I'll go over the lineups in more detail than usual. [0:00] - Making an eggmon useful one meme at a time https://pokemon-masters-stuff.github.io #/team-builder/?id1=10000800000&e1=3&o1=714&g1=AAECAwQFBgcICQoMERITFBobHB0eICUmJyg=&s1=1&id2=10121000000&e2=0&o2=750&g2=AAECAwQFBgcICQsOERQlKywtLi8=&s2=5&id3=18000020081&e3=60&o3=0&g3=&s3=5 Parameter: Light Screen Classic Red is an amazing candidate for Head Start 1 because his TM already accelerates sync by 1. With an extra -1 sync countdown he can shave off a turn on his own. Here I used Plumeria who can set-up her nuke very quickly. I also gridded her with Burst In and Build Up for guaranteed crits. With Supereffective Up Next her nuke looks much more competent and she could clean sweep a stage at 6*EX potential. Support Zubat is completely arbitrary; I just wanted to complete +2 Sp.Atk and Spe for Plumeria, but Zubat activates Poison Type Skills and can chunk a bit with Sludge Bomb. Another trick I used is accelerating sync as my last action: notice how when Red used his TM right before sync the button was ready for pressing earlier than usual. This allowed me to queue with Zubat a little earlier and save gauge. This behavior won't occur if you don't arrive into a sync move through countdown. A very underrated aspect of Lysandre is that he can accelerate sync countdown with his Trainer Move and it helps in these situations. [3:07] - Stolen from ポケmath https://pokemon-masters-stuff.github.io #/team-builder/?id1=10049000000&e1=0&o1=750&g1=AAECAwQFBggKDRATFhcYJSYp&s1=5&id2=10051000000&e2=0&o2=750&g2=AAECAwQFBgwNDh8iKCkqKy4v&s2=5&id3=10007000000&e3=1&o3=738&g3=AAECAwQFBgcKExYZIyQnKCkq&s3=5 Parameter: Permanent Field Effects I took this directly from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOG_Zd_VDMk I wanted to show this to you guys for wider exposure. Acerola barely has anything useful to do with her Lucky Skill, but if you give her Head Start 1 she can reliably "cut down" a turn if she performs a succesful Flinch in the first couple turns. Actually pretty nifty and gives her a niche over Ingo as a Sand setter. [4:26] - Wombo Combo https://pokemon-masters-stuff.github.io #/team-builder/?id1=10044000000&e1=60&o1=30&g1=AAECAwQF&s1=5&id2=10017100000&e2=0&o2=750&g2=AAECAwQFBggKDQ8QFRguLw==&s2=5&id3=10106100000&e3=0&o3=750&g3=AAECAwQFBgcICgsOEBEUGhweHw==&s3=5 Parameter: Improved Special Damage SS Elesa with Head Start 1 is a completely different unit so I bumped her to 6*EX. With Head Start 1 she can cut down a whole turn with just one use of her TM. In this example I also combined SS Leaf's Adrenaline 2, her TM which goes -2 sync countdown post-Mega, and another use of SS Elesa's TM post-sync. In conjunction they eat 9 turns assuming a quad-queue. This battle in particular was difficult to pull-off because I had to juggle RNG (Venomous 4 and Mind Games procs) [6:10] - SSSS rank https://pokemon-masters-stuff.github.io #/team-builder/?id1=10114000000&e1=1&o1=738&g1=AAECAwQFBhobHR4gIyUoKywt&s1=5&id2=10247100000&e2=3&o2=714&g2=AAECAwQFBgcICQoLERITFBUWHB0eHyUmJyg=&s2=1&id3=10120100000&e3=0&o3=750&g3=AAECAwQFFhcYGhwfIiQoKy4v&s3=5 Parameter: Reflect + Light Screen SS Lusamine's TM reduces -2 sync countdown, just couple it with any form of sync acceleration and she can shave off a turn. Just don't actually give her Head Start 1 because she prefers CS2.
