Final Fantasy II Pixel Remaster - 1st Attempt at Final Boss
Note that this was absolutely not planned at all. This was just a yolo attempt to see what I was dealing with for the Emperor in terms of attacks and how much I needed to grind in order to survive. I was not expecting to actually beat him on the first try, but well...here it is! Yes I know there's ways to make this fight go a whole lot quicker, but for some context: 1. I played the entire game only leveling fists and shield, all other weapons are barely touched and I did not have the Blood Sword at the time. 2. Leon is dead because I never bothered leveling up my 4th characters whenever they joined the party. If I needed to I would've boosted him up so he stood a much better chance. 3. As this was my first attempt there's a lot of trial and error during the first half of this run, so I do a lot of "weird" things to see what kind of damage I was dealing. In the end, Fire was doing the most out of everything. About 7:30 is where my strategy is set and I go the remainder of the fight following through until the finish.
