Gothic 2 textures issue (Windows 7)
I installed Gothic 2 on new machine (Core 2 Duo @ 2,8 GHz, 4 GB DDR2, 9800 GTX) with Windows 7 64-bit RC1. I've maxed all settings, set the resolution to 1400 × 1050 and played. I was unpleasantly surprised, when I found out, that there's this kind of problem with textures. Moreover, the whole game runs in about 5-15 FPS and the image crashes after a few seconds of movement. I tried to set a lower visibility - it was quite fluent, but there were still some texture problems and the game crashed after some hero's movement. Has anyone ever encountered this? Does anyone have a clue, what causes this and how to fix it? Thanks in advance!
