ELDEN RING Reforged, but I used Modded Malenia's AI in her fight [RL1, Nohit]

But still I kinda had to split up some activities considering that I don't only record runs. Anyway, I pretty much did a Malenia run yet again but this time with a different twist. So there is this one anomaly that I encountered by the time I was testing Reforged Mod. So Malenia's AI is supposed to be something similar to the vanilla AI from what I remember but when I was trying out Malenia, she still has the modded Malenia AI that I installed not long ago. So that got me thinking: A Modded Malenia X Reforged crossover? That would be sick. So considering that Reforged also overhauls the graphics, it's like I am fighting Modded Malenia with better lighting. Plus, Reforged has one mechanic that really put me to interest mode: Sekiro Deflects. So you can pretty much deflect attacks with perfectly time blocks, which gave me flashbacks from playing a certain monster hunting game where I tried to Perfect Guard as much as I could, as well as my time playing Sekiro on my friend's PC a long while back. Deflect timings is certainly different from parrying considering that the 1st frame of blocking counts as a deflect instead of having to calculate when to push the button since parry frames only trigger 4 frames after the parry is triggered at 30 FPS. This is also where I thought of an idea of playing with 4 different playstyles in the same run. The list goes by: 1. Archery Mode: I would play archer if I am in a good distance away from the boss. 2. Evasion: The typical Dark Souls playstyle where I dodge and punish for openings 3. Parry Mode: I would often switch to parries during the perfect moments to parry Malenia's attacks, mostly indicated from the type of move that she does as well as if I am in the perfect state to parry. 4. Deflection: I would deflect every time Malenia does the Waterfowl Dance. The deflection must be timed perfectly or it's game over. This might be some of the most fun yet challenging experiences with Malenia. Also for some reason I am getting less runes upon my victory in comparison to normal and I don't know why. But hey, at least we get a run done. Extra Notes: This is possibly the most amount of times Malenia does Waterfowl Dance out of all the runs I did.
