This UV printer uses a special type of ink that cures when exposed to ultra violet light. Mimaki JF-1631 is well known for being able to print on uncoated plastic, but it can also print on porcelain, acrylics, metals, glass, wood, and just about anything flat and two inches or thinner. Mimaki JF-1631 does not use solvent inks; solvent ink can be harmful to the environment and dangerous in large quantities. There are also no finishing steps.
