Unveiling of Commemorative Plaque for Ferenc Puskas and Billy Liddell
The unveiling of a commemorative plaque to celebrate the famous charity football match in 1967 between Liverpool Legend Billy Liddell XI and Hungarian Legend Ferenc Puskas XI (the highest goal-scorer of the XXth century). It took place in the great hall of South Liverpool Parkway Station (ex football ground) where the match took place on May 9th 1967. The plaque was unveiled jointly by Steve Rotheram Metro-Mayor and Istvan Tarlos Mayor of Budapest.
