Fable: Anniversary (Xbox Series X) (Xclusive Playthrough - Part 41) The Oracle of Snowspire
Check out part 41 of my Xclusive Playthrough featuring the game Fable: Anniversary! The game released on the Xbox 360 on January 29th, 2014. It is currently available to play on the Xbox One and Xbox Series family of consoles via backwards compatibility. It was developed by Lionhead Studios & published by Xbox Game Studios. In this video, the hero heads to find the glyphs that will awaken the Oracle. Fable: Anniversary is an action role-playing game that is the first of three games in the original trilogy. The first game follows the story of an unnamed hero whose village is attacked on his sister's birthday when he is just a little boy. All of his family and friends are slaughtered during the raid while his sister is kidnapped. A great hero known as Maze rescues the little boy and takes him under his wing, training him to become a hero at the Hero's Guild. The boy trains all the way into adulthood when he is informed by Maze that a blind seeress is living among the bandits within a camp near his old village of Oakvale. With everything that he's learned, the hero sets off on a long journey to find his long-lost sister and get revenge on the bandits that attacked his village. His journey takes him all across the world of Albion where many secrets are revealed along the way. The gameplay is what you would expect from a third-person action role-playing game, however, one of the biggest features that drew people to this game was the good/evil alignment. The player is able to make good or evil choices during every quest or even while out exploring the world. The game allows you to pretty much kill anyone/everyone that you want and actually changes the physical look of the character (positively aligned heroes gain a halo over their head and negatively aligned heroes begin to grow horns along with red eyes). Other than that, the game includes all the regular features of action role-playing games. The player has access to many different weapons and even spells that they can use during combat. The face buttons are used for all of the different actions during the game: the A button is to sprint/interact with items, the X button is used to attack with your melee weapon, the Y button is used for ranged attacks and the B button is used for the hero's active spell. The player actually gains experience for each of these types of attacks and is able to improve various aspects of that specific combat style. The D Pad is also widely used in this game for various actions: pressing up will quickly access your inventory, pressing down will allow you to use your guild seal to fast travel and the left/right parts of the D Pad are used for items that are assigned to those sections. The game includes a large amount of different quests (both main and side quests) that the player can tackle throughout the course of the game which helps the player gain renown, gold and even experience. Finally, the Fable games have always had some very interesting achievements. This game has its fair share of story related achievements, but a lot of the achievements are actually related to side activities or really random/funny things you can do in the game (such as farting on someone with the assassin's outfit). Timestamps: 0:00 - Oracle of Snowspire (Initiation) 1:18 - Oracle of Snowspire (Exploring the Necropolis & Searching for the Glyphs) 5:53 - Silver Key # 29 (Necropolis Fishing Spot) 6:58 - Oracle of Snowspire (Exploring the Necropolis & Searching for the Glyphs) 17:08 - Oracle of Snowspire (Retrieving the Final Glyph) I am an avid achievement hunter and completionist, so if you have any questions regarding a certain game or achievement (or would like to request/suggest a video) be sure to leave a comment on any video & I will respond ASAP.
