Complete midnight screener: 2.2.2 Hermaphroditism Through the Ages -- DIZOZZA HAXAN

"2.2.2" is the musical mystery play, Hermaphroditism Through the Ages (2007), after the Swedish silent movie, HAXAN, (Witchcraft Through the Ages). Directed by Sarah Marck, with backdrop by Sam Moree Another example of the musical mystery play from the Cinema VII collection is "Prepare to Meet Your Maker." Concept, Text, Script, Score, PSR Yamaha keyboard accompaniment, and this edit of Sam Moree's AV elements, by PETER DIZOZZA. This version, particularly the Dr. Jay Clarence Fricasee segment, is edited from several performances... The piece ran for eight performances at Manhattan Theater Source in the collaborative production, "Oh Happy Three." Visit a volcanic string of islands, Beotia, Media, and Xuxu, each existing in different time zones, threatened with attacks from the others, each ruled by morphing couples, Euredice and Orpheus, Kara and Jim, and Charlotte and Dr. Fricassee, all three connected by an underground network ruled by a sorrowful Mole King. For all his sorrow will he ever achieve forgiveness? The subtitle for this piece is Hermaphroditism Through the Ages. For post-performance we played canned music including the recording by the band Queen of the song "The Lap of the Gods" by Freddie (Mercury) Bulsara. Although the recording can overwhelm everything that precedes it, I include that recording here during the end titles. Its inclusion completes this piece. SONGS: Mole King Intro/Common Folk of Beotia Only for a While Cacodylic Eyes We are Three (Lyric by Ed Malin) The Break, Something Better/While You Were Out Only for a While (Reprise) Original Cast: Mole King ... A. Michael Tilford Orpheus ... James Edward Becton Zeus ... Anthony Tsamboukos Hera ... Toni Wickstrom Euredice ... Emily Riordan Duane ... Jeff House Joy ... Stefania Diana Schramm Furies ...
