AMD Ryzen 5 3400G and XBOX Game Pass titles, what is realistic?
The AMD Ryzen 5 3400G is an all in one solution for an entry level gaming PC. But what does that mean and what games can we actually play on it. Taking advantage of the current AMD promotion of a free 3 month XBOX Game Pass I jump in and play a variety of titles to see what is actually achievable with some games and what compromises we have to make to achieve that optimum framerate of 60fps. Games shown are: Ori in the Blind Forest Dead Cell Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Forza Horizon 4 Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite Riverbond And just to be on the good old side of gaming I have also captured some Overwatch and League of Legends Teamfight Tactics. What you do get is a fairly competent processor that seems to play whatever is chucked at it, but you do need to tweak the settings in most games. 2D gameplay from the likes of Ori and the Blind Forest and Dead Cell play effortlessly at 1080p at full fidelity.
