CYCLING CITY OF WINDSOR TRAIL 🌲 ONTARIO EP. 19g🌲 TRANS CANADA TRAIL 🇨🇦

SOUTHERNMOST CITY IN CANADA. BEAUTIFUL WATERFRONT. Cycling 25 km through Windsor Ontario from Tecumseh to the Herb Grey Pathway. Our goal is to travel across Canada on the Trans Canada Trail. The trail connects the cities of St John’s, Newfoundland on the Atlantic Ocean with Vancouver, British Columbia on the Pacific Ocean with Tuktoyaktuc, Northwest Territories, on the Arctic Ocean. This video is Episode 19g in the Ontario part of our journey, begun in Ottawa. Episode 19 (Brantford) has a 568 km spur trail going from Brantford to Windsor that will be done in 7 sections a through g. We cycled this segment from south to north to get the most sun-at-our-backs-time for a better sun angle for the video. We’ve started adding the trail cam video at the end of our presentation of the highlights of the trail. This is in part to help others decide if this is a good trail for them to come to. It could also indicate management issues such as road safety to help pathway users when possible. The footage is also a moment frozen in time of the trail conditions, which can change a lot from year to year. Ive been travelling the trail for a year now and some pathways Ive travelled have since been closed or have sections closed due to pathway washouts, a tornado, a derecho. Whether you have come here to find out more about trails you are considering travelling yourself or to catch a glimpse of a little corner of Canada, we hope you find this informative, relaxing and entertaining.
