Doom Eternal is a sequel to the 2016 Doom reboot. The game was released on March 19, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. The Nintendo Switch version was released on December 8, 2020. Set some time after the events of the 2016 game, the story follows the Doomguy once again, on a mission to end Hell's consumption of Earth and foil the alien Maykr's plans to exterminate humanity. It was followed up by The Ancient Gods - Part One on October 20th, 2020.
