Making House Number Signs with a Router
Showing how to make a pretty house number sign out of an old piece of wood with the help of a plunge router. First, print out the desired house number on a piece of paper and transfer the outline onto the piece of wood. Make the outline more visible by using a pencil . Then use your router to cut out the numbers nicely by using a bit, which is a little smaller than the width of your numbers. Sand down any rough edges with a piece of sandpaper. Finish off the sign with some wood finish and or polyurethane.
