The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt [FPS Fix] - How to get Solid 60 FPS + VSync

Some of the changes you can make in game to help you get that solid 60fps even if your system isn't as beastly as those of a Titan/980 Sli. The tweaks I've made should help most systems but bare in mind you may have to turn down other options if you are below the recommended system spec. Changes Made: Post-Processing: 1. Disable Anti-Aliasing: Removes the MSAA, however you can enable FXAA through the control panel in nVidia or inject SMAA for a cheaper solution for AMD cards. [FPS Cost: 5~10] 2. Motion Blur/Blur: Personal preference but these have a minimal cost of performance [FPS Cost: 0~1] Graphics Engine: 1. Turn Off Nvidia Hairworks: Definitely a must if you do not have a GTX 980 or Titan in SLI you will get a lot of dips in FPS whenever you enter combat, for 780/R9 290 I recommend on for only Geralt or completely off. [FPS Cost: 10~30, extremely dependent on scenerio] 2. Medium Settings on Shadow Quality: Although you can get away with shadows on high I would advise medium for when you get out of the starting zone and enter some of the larder city scapes. [FPS Cost: 2~6] 3. Foliage Visibility Range: This not only controls the visible range at which grass and trees are rendered but also the shadows on them. Yes the SHADOWS on grass and trees. remember that! XD I keep it at medium because later on in the larger zones it can rocket the fps especially on Kepler GPUs. [5~10] Note: There is an issue with running the game on Windowed Fullscreen as opposed to regular Fullscreen. I am not sure if this is a glitch or just my system but I did notice about a 10-20fps gain. No joke I went from 65-71fps to about 90-100fps. So please let me know if you notice this as well. Recommended Systems: Nvidia: GTX 660Ti/680/760/770/780 AMD: R9: 280/290/[X], HD 7870/7970/7990 Laptop/Moblie: GTX 980M/880M(SLI)/780M(SLI)/680M(SLI) & AMD Counterparts in Crossfire. Also please note that if you do not have at least 6GB of System Ram and a Quad Core Processor none of the above changes will make much of a difference. :( Sorry. !!!! Awesome. Thank you guys for the 10,000 Views =D I'm glad I could help you all even a little bit!!!! My System: i7-4800MQ GTX 780M(x2) SLI 32GB Ram @ 1600MHZ 1920x1080p Resolution
