Nikolaï Orelov möchte das Land mit seiner Familie verlassen, muss jedoch noch einen letzten Auftrag für den Assassinen-Orden erledigen. Seine Aufgabe lautet, in das Haus einzudringen, in dem die Zarenfamilie von den Bolschewisten gefangen gehalten wird und ein Artefakt zu stehlen, um das sich die Assassinen und Templer schon seit Jahrhunderten streiten. Dabei wird er Zeuge der Ermordung der Zarenkinder, kann jedoch Prinzessin Anastasia retten. Er muss den Templern entkommen und zugleich das Artefakt sowie Anastasia beschützen.
