Due to illness, Roy Fox was unable to take part in several weeks worth of recording sessions with his band. This was the first of ten or so dates at which Lew Stone stepped in to assume conducting duties. This song and the flip side “Life Is Just A Bowl Of Cherries” ( https://youtu.be/SllUb_Ci04I ) were written for the 1931 edition of the Broadway revue “George White’s Scandals,” with a cast that included Rudy Vallee, Ethel Merman, Ray Bolger and Alice Faye.
