Giana Sisters 2.5D: Test Level Playthrough
EDIT 9/3/12: Looks like the very people that made the DS remake of Giana Sisters have made a brand new Giana Sisters game, which just so happens to be in 2.5D and home to a lot of cool gameplay goodness. In other words, it's WAY better than this thing I made. Check it out here: http://project-giana.com/ ----------- After taking a break from game development for almost a year, I decided to come back with yet another platformer, this time bringing the Giana Sisters world to a 2.5D perspective. This video is a playthrough of the test level constructed in the game and showing off some of it's physics and mechanics. The physics for Giana are a bit floaty (especially when you jump on an enemy), Punk Giana is still not built and the camera view could cover more space. Other than that though, I don't think it's turning out half bad.
