Tesseract - Dystopia (Guitar and Bass Cover)

Dystopia, the introductory track off the Tesseract album Polaris, is one of my absolute favourite tunes to listen to and to play. The groove is real, with the hi-hat keeping time real smooth. I wish I had a drum kit, as I would have loved to attempt a full band cover of the track - maybe one day! In the meantime, please enjoy my attempts to emulate Acle and Amos' thumping, riffing, and grooving. This is my first real attempt at slap bass, so please excuse all the mistimed pops and mistakes. Tesseract has this amazing ability to create an atmosphere with their tracks, that you can really delve into. I've heard this song more than 500 times at this point (probably) and yet with every listen I still manage to discover new sounds that I hadn't heard before. Hope you enjoy, and let me know what other songs to cover! Guitar Signal Chain: Ibanez RG8, Focusrite Scarlett Solo, Ableton Live Intro, Neural DSP Archetype Abasi + Ableton Native Plugins Bass Signal Chain: Gear4Music 5 String Bass, Focusrite Scarlett Solo, Ableton Live Intro, Ableton Native Plugins Many of you have asked about the stuff I use to make my videos, so I'm posting some affiliate links here!
