MTH 254 Lesson14 Iterated Integrals

This is Section 12.2: Iterated Integrals for MTH 254 at Portland Community College. In this lesson we look at finding the volume between a surface given by z=f(x,y) and the xy-plane over a rectangular region using double integrals and see that we can integrate with respect to one variable while holding the other variable constant before then integrating with respect to the other variable over the bounds in the x- and y-directions respectively. We then re-look at finding an average z-value over a given domain using double integrals and then look at finding the volume of a solid described by its bounds.
