Trading E-mini S&P 500 - 17 Jan 2023 AM Session
Longed 2 contracts of the E-mini S&P 500 Futures soon after 9.30. I took the trade on the 15 second timeframe based on the ICT Mentorship 2022. I was aiming for price to break the high formed at the NYSE open (4023.50) but I got stopped out when price went back to attack the sellside liquidity at 4011. ICT then published a video of the morning session where he explained the volume imbalance formed between 9.44-9.45. I'm pretty sure I'd have been stopped out soon after as I was protecting my trade while price went back to revisit that imbalance twice. I need to work hard on how to keep being in a trade.
