How to get Developer Mode in "Dead Island"
READ THIS DISCRIPTION IF YOU'RE HAVING PROBLEMS !!!! From the original launch date of this video a few of it's viewers have run into a problem, because of the acces rights to the file you need to edit, the following is a way to get rid of that : STEP 1 : ------- a) Either make a copy of the 'DataO" file and drag it onto your desktop. ------- b) Or just put the "DataO" file on your desktop without making a copy. STEP 2 : Now it's on your desktop you should have the acces rights to the file and you'll be able to start editing it, without having to do anything else. If you still can't edit the file, make sure you're logged in as administrator, and if the User Account Control is activated. If you manage to get your hands on them , these updates are filled with texture packs and mods like "the hammer of doom" wich makes zombies sing SCAT MAN songs and explode. The ARCHIVE versions are mod versions that will NEVER make it's way to the general public, since these are heavily modified version of the game, ergo these are constructions sets only for the modding community of our NEXUS. I have to add these version on the list since some of our new members are just script kiddies.
