Cara Tanis. Rev. Tanis serves as pastor for Emmaus Table, the worshipping community at 7400 Woodlawn and also a mission developer along with the collective of partners that are a part of 7400 Woodlawn. Cara is a Spiritual Director and Coach. Her desire is to join others seeking authentic lives of hospitality, grace, and service in compassion-filled community. Cara and her family are grateful to live and serve in the Green Lake neighborhood. University Lutheran is a metropolitan congregation, committed to being a vital ministry in the University District and the world. As a Reconciling in Christ congregation, we affirm the dignity and worth of people of all races, ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identity, social status, age, physical capability and economic condition. As a Greening Community, we strive to be faithful stewards of God’s creation.
