Inveraray takes 2017 European Championships at Forres
Inveraray and District Pipe Band, led by Pipe Major Stuart Liddell with Leading Drummer Steven McWhirter playing in the Grade One Pipe Band Championships held in Grant Park in Forres on 24 June 2017. This was a March, Strathspey and Reel (MSR) competition and the band's set was: March: The Links of Forth (traditional) Strathspey :The Bob of Fettercairn (traditional) Reel: Charlie's Welcome (traditional) Inveraray and District Pipe Band won the British Championship earlier in the season with the same MSR set.
