Down to Yesterday (A Short Film)

A wormhole, also known as an Einstein--Rosen bridge, is a hypothetical topological feature of spacetime that would be fundamentally a "shortcut" through spacetime. A wormhole is much like a tunnel with two ends each in separate points in spacetime. The theory of general relativity predicts that if traversable wormholes exist, they could allow time travel. A possible resolution to the paradoxes such as "grandfather paradox" resulting from wormhole-enabled time travel rests on the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics. Many-worlds implies that all possible alternative histories and futures are real, each representing an actual "world" (or "universe"). In lay terms, the hypothesis states there is a very large—perhaps infinite number of universes, and everything that could possibly have happened in our past, but did not, has occurred in the past of some other universe or universes. PLOT: A curious guy drags his not so curious friend into a situation that used to be his fantasy, and together they venture in a quest to comprehend what exactly is going on.
