Scalextric Tinplate Ferrari 375 F1 50th Anniversary Car

In 2007 Scalextric celebrated its 50th Anniversary with a set of two Ferrari cars. The 1/32 tinplate you see on the track is a Ferrari 375 F1 racing car. The original 375 was introduced at Monza in 1951. I have been working on this Scalextric track off and on for a couple of years. The scenery is not finished. The tracks can be switched out at any time for digital racing with lane changing tracks. The Ferrari 375 is an unmodified straight-from-the-box analog car. Narrow wheel base model racing cars like this vintage Farrari are slippery on the track. However some say more realistic race results are achieved with cars like this. Notice how I almost lose it at the end but carefully saved it to get back on track to finish the lap.
