It fires an instantaneous projectile which will destroy ANYTHING it hits. However, there is no explosion. This can be considered better than the BetaPAX as it warms up faster, can't hurt the user, is instantaneous, can fire almost twice as rapidly and it can destroy a tank in 1 hit instead of 3.
