The Qatar ExxonMobil Open was a rare black spot on Djokovic’s stellar 2015 record as he opened his season with an unexpected loss to Ivo Karlovic – the only tournament for the whole year in which he failed to reach the final. (To be fair, Djokovic was ill that week and Karlovic is one of those players who anybody can lose to on their day.) After his remarkable three-Slam, 82-6 2015 season, the question on everybody’s lips when it comes to Djokovic is whether he can do it again and he has certainly made a very positive start in Doha.
