This marketing strategy becomes pretty obvious with most advertisement campaigns, where ads have become beautiful short story that say few to none about the characteristics of the product. Most of these companies have been smart enough to translate this marketing strategy in their establishments, transforming shopping in quite an experience as well. This can be accomplished by creating a unique atmosphere on the brands shops, training employees to behave in a particular way, and having some signature move such as Apple’s no cash policy. However when buying in any of these companies online sites all the magic is gone, no wonderful experience, no unique atmosphere, just a drop down impractical catalogue. In order to try and recreate the great experience that shopping on the brands’ physical stores is we propose an innovative way to interact with online customers. Our idea is to place interactive videos on the companies online shops, these videos will be produced according to the advertisement style of the company, in order to create the appropriate atmosphere, however by every interaction the customer will be giving us information on what they are looking for. We’ll use this information to, at the end of the video, offer the customer a series of contextualized products, just like they can be found in the store. Because, if you want your customer to purchase more products it’s all about the context. We call this solution VDC, Visual Data Collector.
