Each Pratley guitar is entirely built on the Gold Coast, Queensland, using sustainable Australian native tone-woods to produce world-class instruments with unique design and character, while maintaining a classic appeal. The SL Series combines the beautiful tone of a Solid Bunya soundboard with the price of layered veneer back. Although this is the entry-level Pratley acoustic model, they have stayed true to their 3 major design principles of tone, feel and simple elegant aesthetics. The neck is plantation Victorian Ash which has great strength-to-weight and stability. The back & sides are made in Australia from high-quality Australian tone-wood veneers and the soundboard is 'A' grade QLD Bunya Pine, an Australian timber with fantastic clarity and headroom. This is a superb-sounding Australian-made guitar with fantastic craftsmanship and feel, for a very impressive price. Includes gig bag. Recorded using Ear Trumpet Edwina and Milab VM-44 microphones, Solid State Logic SSL2+ audio interface, Logic Pro X and Waves Reverb and Mastering plugins, with an emphasis of capturing the true voice of each guitar.
