Day 4 Linux Mint Challenge
Still unhappy that the Fujitsu Scan Snap S1300 is not fully compatible however, every other piece of hardware that I needed has worked. Found the student files I need for class so it is time to get to work. A Linux specific student file was available oddly enough, I have not seen any difference in the files between the Windows download and the Linux download. Both file options for the student files were in .zip containers. PLUMA is the included plain text editor included with Linux Mint and it does have the ability to Syntax Highlight headers in various colors, on the bottom right hand there is a drop down box with different coding languages. HTML is an available option. I have been using RecordMyDesktop to capture screen footage, and this time audio was captured from within the app. RecordMyDesktop was downloaded from the Software Manager app. Once again I used Kdenlive to edit the video.
