Linear Function | Slope of a Line | IntoMath
In this IntoMath Grade 9 video lesson we are discovering a linear function, represented in 4 different forms: graph of a line, table of values, linear equation and a word problem. We are looking at two types of linear functions: y=kx and y=mx+b. We identify an independent and a dependent variable, look for the x and y intercepts and see how distance, time and speed are related and how they represent a linear function. We create tables of values and graph each function.
