RimWorld - 1.4 Unstable - Pre-Biotech - Colony 1.0
Hey folks. I recently updated my rig to Mint 21. It seems whatever Clement and the gang updated under the hood pumped up the performance of my Radeon RX570. Previously I was unable to get OBS to comfortably output 1080p60 through the VAAPI encoder, however since the update my rig seems to be handling it no problem. Therefore, in this live strum, I see if my aging AMD FX-8120 / RX570 rig can stream RimWorld @ 1080p60! And if it goes well then I'll continue to playout a Randy Random RimWorld Run on the unstable 1.4 branch @ 500% threat level until I die... or my rig melts, both equally as likely! (Or until Dinner is ready...) *Game audio only without player commentary since there is an audibly “rude” network rack within earshot of the mic at the moment.
