Wiimmfi DNS: 95.217.77.181 Mario Kart Wii is STILL online in 2024 just by changing your DNS in the Wii internet settings! Sorry about some of the framerate issues. I thought it was just my hard drive being slow. I hope it's not too unwatchable. Mario Kart Wii online is STILL active in 2024! Connecting to Wiimmfi is as easy putting a custom DNS in your Wii internet settings! You can also use CTGP, etc Wiimmfi is a replacement for GameSpy, which hosted the original servers until 20th May 2014. Mario Kart Wii Wiimmfi has thousands of players every day! It is well moderated, has anti-cheat, blocks broken ultra shortcuts, and also includes anti-brick protection for your console These races were recorded around the 18th - 23rd of January 2024. Wiimmfi is made by Wiimm and Leseratte, and lots of other contributors(like MrBean35000vr) If you want to play Wiimmfi without homebrew, you can use the DNS in your Wii internet settings! The current DNS for Wiimmfi is 95.217.77.181(151 also works) If it changes I'll update it here. Leseratte will also put a pop up on your screen when it's about to change To play Wiimmfi on Dolphin emulator, you can use the Wiimmfi ISO patcher here https://wiimmfi.de/patcher/iso you can also use this for USB Loader or Wiiflow if you want to play on real Wii hardware but have a broken disc drive! Your PC must also be fast enough to run Dolphin at full speed. Before you can connect to Wiimmfi on Dolphin you will need a NAND backup from a real Wii. You can ask a friend or you could copy it yourself. To copy your own Wii NAND, you can use an SD card, and you must download Letterbomb https://please.hackmii.com/ Put the SD card in the Wii, go to the Wii message board, go back a couple pages and then click the red letter! From there you can install BootMii. Press Reset on your Wii and then use the power and Reset buttons to select the right buttons, press the one with the arrow pointing to the SD card. After you got the backup, open Dolphin emulator and press Tools, then Import BootMii NAND Backup! Also check your Wii's MAC address in the internet settings and put it in your Dolphin config ini file(i'm not sure if it's still required) I believe Windows has it in /users/(your name)/AppData. Linux can have it in different places depending on the package you install There are some rules that you have to follow when you play Wiimmfi. Just don't cheat, don't troll a lap behind, don't use inappropriate names, etc Some glitch shortcuts are allowed, the ones that are banned are already patched out so you can't do them. You are allowed to share a NAND with your friends but everybody will have the same ID so don't let anybody get banned! It's usually temporary if it's something small like a Mii name. The Bean Corner is the main Discord server for Mario Kart Wii, the admins are there and they have a channel where you can report cheating and see updates https://discord.gg/G4jf5YM Wiimmfi also has custom Mario Kart Wii competitions!
