Searching for Nora 1 Woman in the time of Ibsen

Understanding Ibsen and Norwegian Woman Wendy Swallow spoke to the Norwegian History Roundtable about Norway in Ibsen’s Day, Wendy is a former Washington Post reporter and professor emerita at American University in Washington, DC, where she taught journalism for nearly two decades. She lives in Reno, NV, and Orleans, MA. She will discuss the history behind her Novel "Searching for Nora". Her novel novel was an authentic work of historical fiction rich with themes of love, family, self-determination, truthfulness and forgiveness. "Searching for Nora" recently won two awards for fiction about the American Midwest, including a silver medal IPPY (Independent Publisher Book) award.
