Albert Jungmann: L'attente (Waiting), Op.157 No.1
Phillip Sear plays a 'Notturno', the first of two 'Morceaux mélodieux' published in 1862, by the Prussian composer Albert Jungmann (1824-92). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jungmann (1824-92) was Prussian born, but spent most of his working life in Rome and Vienna. 'Heimweh' (Dreams of Home), Op. 117, from 1858, which I videoed in 2008 is perhaps his best-known work. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Played by Phillip Sear http://www.psear.co.uk (Email: piano4@psear.33mail.com WhatsApp: http://wa.me/441444483794 )
