The Holy Roman Emperor sought to regain control of Brabant, by force if necessary. He caused upon another of his vassals, the powerful Austrians, to join him in battle. In addition to Austria, the Empire of Nicaea also sent an army. The defenders were outnumbered by over 2000 men. Also, the attacking forces were much more well equipped. Even with their French allies inside the city, the situation was dire. With tensions rising, the defenders make a very daring move.....
