Farby Drums of War: The Historical (in)Accuracy of "April Morning"

I probably wasn't the only one to watch this film in 6th grade history class! The 1988 movie "April Morning," based off a book of the same name, features one of the most iconic displays of the Battle of Lexington on film. It is most notable to myself for its use of reenactors to portray the British regular army, rather than the usual alternative of cheaply outfitted and poorly drilled extras. But, reenactors alone aren't enough to guarantee a scene is authentic to the period. So, what did they get right, and what did they get horribly, terribly, wrong?
