Panasonic Dot Matrix Printer KX-P1123. Getting It To Work With Windows 7
Hooking up the Panasonic Printer to a windows 7 computer using a parallel to USB adapter. if your computer doesn't have a parallel port and it won't work with a USB adapter then you would need to get a Parallel port card. printer works with the computer no issues. I also did some maintenance and applied some white lithium grease to the guide rail. Had to install a Epson driver for the printer to work as Panasonic is not listed in the windows 7 printer menu. Also had to change the printer port from LPT 1 to USB001 which i didn't notice at first when I tried to print a windows test page. Only issue I'm having with the printer currently is the cheap aftermarket ribbon not wanting to work correctly. Now to get the correct paper type for this printer and try banner printing also.
