Cleaning My Projector Optics ~ Fixing Projection Quality for 3D Printing

This is long I know. I tried to leave it as uncut as possible so that anyone else trying to do this can save themselves the headache. I started this video very wary that I was going to ruin my $600 projector and that’s the primary reason I started recording, so that if something went wrong I could look back on what I did to screw it up. Everything worked out though and my projector image is crystal clear now and my DLP 3D printer works greats. If you haven’t seen it already, this is a follow up video to the color wheel removal video I did last month. The result of that video after I got my projector reassembled was there were a lot of dust spots and blotches on my projection making it unusable for my 3D Printer. This video was made to show me fixing my projector and what I did to clean it. I’m super pleased that I didn’t actually break anything haha. The original video is here: https://youtu.be/KBvYzKbv-QI And if you’re wondering what I mean when I’m talking about 3D printing with a projector look at my video on how DLP/SLA 3D Printers work: https://youtu.be/hQ21gbeYFYQ If you stick it out for the whole video leave me a comment and say so because that’s quite the accomplishment haha. I’ll be honest I only watched this once myself and that was while I edited it. Hopefully having too much will benefit enough people out there to justify having it so long. I do have to apologize that many of the things I did were not in view of the camera. I’ll be having to monitor videos like this in the future using the GoPro App on my phone so it looks better in the future. Be sure to check out my FB page and give me a like over there as well. https://www.facebook.com/GarageScience
