Anno 1602 Speedrun - Dark Clouds on the Horizon - 0:41 Any% (former WR)
Anno 1602 doesn't have enough speedruns, despite being an absolutely wild speed-game. For any% speedrunning, the defining feature is the "warehouse nukes" bug. By opening the build menu, selecting a warehouse, and clicking and dragging from enemy territory, you are able to force your enemy to use their resources to build you a warehouse. This in many scenarios will instantly grant you total control of their island - but if you can't get full control, by clicking and dragging a warehouse upgrade from your territory to theirs, you instantly destroy all property they control on the island, destroying all of their buildings and presence there. This run was played on the History Edition.
