Dell Alienware X17 R1 Western Digital Black SN850 PCIe 4.0 SSD Upgrade PART I

RTX 3070 Mobile My original PassMark Score 14,321 - Alienware X17 R1 Original Factory RTX 3070 Ti Desktop Passmark Desktop Score 22,634 RTX 3070 Mobile My Highest PassMark score 22,484 Difference of 383 The score has been validated and here is the link: https://www.passmark.com/baselines/V10/display.php?id=147714610991 Note at the end there are 2 links for the RAID 0 Drivers after you have configured and Created the RAID in the BIOS. After Curial Ballistic DDR4 3200 MHz Memory and Western Digital Black SN850 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD Upgrade along with Dynamic Boot 2.0 Enable with GPU Over Clock and Memory XMP Enable shown in the original Video. That is unheard of this is 2 to 3 Generation of Performance Gain, These Scores are not lying and they never have not with this much of a difference. The Bench Mark is consistent it stays in this range yes it fluctuates a bit but not by much. Passmark is a reputable bench Mark that people have been trusting for Decades. There are a lot of variables, 1st the memory and 2nd the NVMe SSD, Now note in the description I did note that the Stock GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU PassMark Score 14,610 My GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU PassMark Score 14,321 is lower. The sock Alienware X17 R1 left so mush performance on the table until you open it up with HIGH Performance Memory and NVMe SSD PCIe 4.0, GPU OC Dynamic Boot and Memory XMP Enabled. Laptop Manufactures do not put high end Memory or SSD's in laptops the market is too competitive for that they are not going to do it, because no one is going to buy them. but Once I added the Curial Memory it did make a huge difference and now that I have removed the NVMe SSD PCIe 3.0 drive and added the NVMe SSD PCIe 4.0 drive My Highest score is now 22,251 it is Outperforming the Desktop RTX 2080 Ti which has a score of 21,717 and my current score of 22,251 is now out preforming the desktop RTX 3070 Stock Desktop Card and is now competing with the RTX 3070 Ti which score is 22,692. I said that this is not possible. But take note with Nvidia Ampere silicone this is the first time they are using the same die in both the Desktop and Mobile GPU, why because the die has shrunken down to just 8nm why would they even bother this time around it makes a lot of sense to use the same 8nm die in the Desktop and Mobile GPU. Desktop RTX 3070 has 5888 CUDA Cores: Mobile RTX 3070 has 5120 CUDA Cores difference of 768 CUDA Cores, Stock Desktop RTX 3070 Ti has 6144 CUDA Cores they are all using the same Silicone DIE but no one is taking notice why because of the memory and the SSD that are being installed in Laptops, no one would ever suspect this because in the past the Desktop and Mobile silicone die was always different but not this time. I have not done a VIDEO on this; I am waiting till I add the second NVMe SSD PCIe 4.0 drive to configure in RAID 0, to see how much closer I can come to the Stock Desktop RTX 3070 Ti. It makes no sense to me now buy the desktop RTX 3070 or the RTX 3080 desktop Graphic Card if you get the right laptop, to me this is Truly a REAL Desktop (Killer) Replacement. I am very happy with it. Yes, the Curial can do 32OO MHz at 1.20 Volts, but the Max speed is 3466 MHz at 1.35 Volts Alienware sells the XMP DDR4 3466 MHz 1.35 Volts Memory, Dell did update the BIOS and you can now enable XMP in the BIOS but Crucial can only do 1.2-volt Alienware Command Center locked the Voltage and I cannot increase the voltage to 1.35 Volts. So, if you have ordered the 3466 XMP Ram theatrically it should outperform the Crucial Ballistic but You never knew until you install it and run the bench mark. But just Rember to get the performance that I am not getting that is competing with the RTX 3070 Ti, you will need to install a PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. So, watch my original Video to see my Graphic OC, and Nvidia Settings, and Make sure you disable Advance Optimus in the BIOS, enabled it Bottle necks the GPU, and to get this performance you will need to be connected to an external 4K Screen plugged in to the HDMI Port because it connects to the RTX 3070 Directly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZOBB7q7Pw4 Alienware X17 R1 RAID 0 Drivers to install Windows 10 https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000058724/memory-and-storage.html https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19512/intel-rapid-storage-technology-driver-installation-software-with-intel-optane-memory-10th-and-11th-gen-platforms.html?
